We have our first sunflower starting to flower!! Small at the moment and it seems to be pointing north, what have we done to deserve a backwards sunflower?!

@10 weeks – sweetpeas and beans
The runner beans are making a runner for the top of the wigwams, even against all the strong wind we have had nearly every day this week. The sweetpeas continue to be small and growing only slightly, a lot of this caused I am thinking by the lack of preparation of the soil. [...]

Seeds in the Back
We are starting to get a nice display of ‘flowers for wildlife’ at the back. The seeds we sowed ages ago are now mini flowers starting to flower, while the seeds we sowed a little bit late at the beginning of the month are going well.

Patio cleaned up
